The Biggest Little Farm Classroom is a free, groundbreaking curriculum for grades 3–12 that brings the lessons of The Biggest Little Farm film to life.

What makes this curriculum so unique is the partnership behind it: the agricultural research of The Rodale Institute, a longtime leader in organic farming science, and the conservation expertise of American Farmland Trust, a pioneering protector of working farms and farmland. Together, their knowledge grounds the film’s real-life story in science. Rather than teaching ecology as isolated concepts, the curriculum uses the film’s animals, challenges, and consequences to show how soil, water, wildlife, food, and human choices connect, turning a living story into a classroom lab that makes complex science tangible, emotional, and memorable.

The curriculum is STEM-based, NGSS-aligned, and available to every school, everywhere.
